Everything you need to know about this week’s Yeezy drop.
In February, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Zebra” hit shelves and sold out faster than perhaps any Yeezy before it. (Which is saying a lot considering most of these kicks don’t last a minute online). The reason for this was simple: there were less pairs of the black and white striped version than any other V2 until that point, and the Kanye West-designed kicks were only sold via Adidas as opposed to third party retailers. The result of this limited run meant for the past 4 months, the kicks have fetched upwards of $1,500 at places like Flight Club. But now, Adidas has mercifully decided to re-released the “Zebra” colorway, this time including third party retailers.
The version of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Zebra” being released this weekend is identical to the one that dropped in February, including the full primeknit upper, semi-translucent sole and signature Adidas Boost sole. This time around, however, because of the long list of stores that will carry the kicks, there are raffles to be entered and won as is the case with many Yeezy releases. Below, alongside Yeezy Mafia we’ve compiled a list of raffles worth entering that will give you the best chances of potentially picking up a pair of these highly coveted kicks.
Adidas’s reservation app called Confirmed will now feature some basic questions that you must answer before completing a reservation of a pair of Yeezys. It should make the playing field a little more level (for now). Reservations open at 4PM EST on Wednesday, June 21.

How to Be a Better, Faster Online Shopper
Check Your Internet Connection
Check out Speedtest.net to see how fast your internet is actually running. Then call your Internet provider to correct any issues or upgrade to the highest of high-speed connections. When thousands of ravenous customers all crash a website, even the smallest fraction of megabyte speed can make the difference.
Use the Buddy System
If you really want these shoes, increase your odds by telling some friends and family to try their best to get them at the same time you are. But don’t inundate them with tons of information, because chances are they don’t care. Simply send them a link, a specific time, the size you would like, and your credit card information.
Type Your Credit Card Info into a Word Doc
You don’t want to be the idiot who gets the sneakers in his cart, only to realize you can’t find your wallet. Write all of the info in a Word document, then simply copy and paste.
Resist the Urge to Refresh
Once a link goes live, remember that the site will be slow. There are way more people on the site than at any other time, all vying for a handful of sneakers. But the way these systems work is in order, so all refreshing will do is kick you to the back of the line. Be patient, hold your place, and make attempts to add your size to your cart about once every minute. Feverishly clicking on the same link won’t help.
Or, Don’t Do Any of This
Sleep in, wait ’til these kicks hit the aftermarket, and pick them up for $1,000+ tomorrow afternoon. The choice is yours.
