The next phase of the rapper’s Converse collaboration gets a big reveal on Twitter.

Just over two weeks ago, Tyler, the Creator announced his first Converse One Star collaboration, noting that it was up for grabs. In a surprise to absolutely no one, it sold out immediately. But that was only the first wave of the rapper’s ongoing partnership with the Chuck Taylor brand. His latest drop takes on the ’70s-era One Star again, but updates it in four brand-new suede colorways (pink, yellow, blue, and purple), alongside subtle Tyler-inspired twists. His “Golf Le Fleur” flower logo is stitched around the Convere’s star logo, and his Flower Boy album cover is printed on the insole of the sneakers. The words “DON’T LET THEM KILL YOUR FLOWERS MAKE SURE YOUR GARDEN IS WATERED AND STUNT” (which previously appeared on Tyler’s Twitter back in 2015) are printed along the midsole.

To us, Tyler’s new One Star sneakers are more than just dusty-hued kicks; they’re also the latest evidence that the rapper is in what we’ll call a bubbly mood. When he first went viral in 2011 with his song “Yonkers,” he was cast as a dark, depressive, and/or angry rapper with a foul mouth and a worse attitude. But in recent years, the rapper/producer has revealed he’s actually kind of a softy (or at least taken on the persona). His music today leans happier than ever before, evidenced on his most recent album, Flower Boy, which debuted last week. (Also: What’s not to be happy about when you’re 26 years old with your own music festival, app, a forthcoming TV show on Vice, a clothing line, your own sneaker, and Kendall Jenner as a BFF?)

These four flowery colorways are perfect for the end of summer, while their suede construction can carry you into fall. (There’s no official rule, after all, that says you have to ditch bright colors just because people are hanging out in pumpkin patches rather than the beach.) Additionally, $35 T-shirts and $90 hoodies will also be released alongside the kicks in the same colorways under Converse’s new “Essentials” sub-brand, and will feature Tyler’s round “Golf Le Fleur” logo and a small One Star logo to commemorate the collaboration. The whole lot of gear drops August 3, and if you want to be as happy as Tyler in these new kicks, act quickly—because chances are they won’t be in stock after release day.
