Soup up your wardrobe with one jacket.
In news that surprises zero humans, Michael Fassbender looks good wearing clothes. It’s a skill set that extends to his new gig as an unofficial race car driver (when you’re famous, it can be a thing). We’re used to seeing the actor nail suits every time he hits the red carpet or polo shirts at press tours or rugged jackets anytime else because that’s just what handsome rich guys do, right?)
Fassbender has been using his spare time lately to compete in the North American division of the 2017 Ferrari Challenge racing series. One of the perks of his new hobby has the X-Men actor hanging out in some branded jumpsuits and racing jackets by the Italian sports car brand that don’t look unlike many of the racing-inspired gear spotted on some recent runways. They’re the types of garments that rev up (sorry) any outfit, regardless of your abilities behind the wheel—or even if you have a car.
Take Drake, for example, the rapper is a major player on the cool jackets scene but he’s not an actual Formula 1 driver. Still, the guy looks damn good in his Ferrari racing jacket and he didn’t have to risk his life to get it.
Right now the fall outerwear market is fully stocked with Michael Fassbender-style racing jackets from real-deal racing companies to high-end fashion brands. And there’s something for every guy, whether you’re into wearing lots of logos or prefer to keep things a little more minimal. Either way you’ll benefit from the body enhancing qualities of this macho style wardrobe winner. Look for one with flattering details like a stand-up collar, strategic color blocking, and muscle enhancing stripes. And of course a little bit of fire engine red never hurt.
